The 31st Western Photosynthesis Conference

The 31st Western Photosynthesis Conference took place as a virtual meeting on March 24 and 25 2022.

The program booklet can be downloaded here.

NEW: WPC 2023 is happening in Bodega Bay Marine Laboratory January 5-8 2023!

We are continuing the tradition of this annual meeting that started in the 1990’s and brings together students and researchers from around the western United States and beyond to discuss aspects of natural and artificial photosynthesis.

We are sorry we cannot return to an in-person meeting yet. However, we are excited to learn about the latest findings in our research field, and we look forward to  interacting with all of you during the conference.

A list of invited speakers can be found here. The program includes a significant number of talks from the submitted abstracts. In addition, there will be a virtual poster session, and all participants will have the opportunity to present their work in a poster blitz talk (1 slide, 1 minute). A number of prizes will be awarded to the best poster and best oral presentations given by early career investigators.
